BIO
My work begins with what passes through hands unnoticed, used and set aside without thought, disappearing into the routine of everyday life.
I am drawn to objects that circulate without being seen. Mass-produced, handled by everyone, they move from hand to hand without leaving a mark. They are not meant to be looked at.
I collect these objects and place them one by one onto panels. As they accumulate, something shifts. The invisible becomes impossible to overlook. What was singular and negligible transforms into a dense surface of rhythm, structure, and relief. Function falls away. What remains creates a tension between what the object was and what it has become.
My work reflects consumption and daily ritual. Objects that carry no class, no hierarchy, no distinction. Through repetition, attention shifts. What is usually passed over begins to insist on being seen.
Use, discard, repeat. The trace remains.
